Overview

By setting up Auto-Recharge, users can automate credit top-ups when their account balance falls below a specified Threshold, preventing service disruptions and ensuring smooth call operations. This guide walks you through how to configure Auto-Recharge and manage your Threshold Settings to optimize credit usage. It also highlights key considerations under thinkrr’s credit-based billing model, where each credit is worth $0.01 and the number of credits an operation consumes depends on what it actually does.

What Is Auto-Recharge?

Auto-Recharge is a feature that allows users to automatically purchase additional credits when their credit balance falls below a predefined Threshold. This ensures uninterrupted service without requiring manual top-ups each time your credits run low. For example:
  • Threshold: 1,000 credits
  • Auto-Recharge Amount: $50 (5,000 credits)
If your balance drops below 1,000 credits, the system automatically purchases $50 of credits and adds 5,000 credits to your balance.
💡 Credits cost $0.01 each, so a $50 recharge adds 5,000 credits. How long those credits last depends on how much your agents and AVA consume, since consumption is based on the actual cost of each operation.

How to Set Up Auto-Recharge & Threshold Settings

1

Open Profile Settings

  • Hover over your profile name in the bottom-left corner and click Profile Settings.
2

Open the Billing Tab

  • Click the Billing tab to access your credit balance and recharge options.
3

Add a Payment Method (if not already done)

  • In the Payment Method section, click Update to add or change the card used for purchases.
4

Turn On Auto-Recharge

  • In the Auto-recharge section, switch the toggle to On.
5

Choose Your Threshold

  • In the When credits fall below dropdown, select the credit balance that triggers an Auto-Recharge: 500, 1,000, or 2,500 credits.
6

Choose Your Auto-Recharge Amount

  • In the add dropdown, select how much to purchase each time the threshold is reached: $25 (2,500 credits), $50 (5,000 credits), $100 (10,000 credits), or $200 (20,000 credits).
  • There is no Save button. Your settings apply automatically, and the card used for automatic top-ups is shown below them.

Sub-Account Credit Auto Allocation

Monthly Sub-Account Auto Allocation lets agencies purchase and assign credits to a specific sub-account on a recurring 30-day basis. This is configured from Account Manager, not the Billing tab.
1

Open Account Manager

  • In the left sidebar, click Account Manager.
2

Open the Sub-Account Menu

  • Find the sub-account you want to manage in the list.
  • Click the three-dot menu next to that sub-account.
3

Select Manage Auto Allocation

  • Select Manage auto allocation to open the Monthly Credits Auto Allocation panel.
4

Enter the Credits Per Month

  • In the Credits per month field, enter how many credits should be allocated each cycle.
  • The minimum monthly allocation is $10 (1,000 credits).
  • Leave the value as 0 if you do not want to allocate credits.
  • Review the Estimated monthly charge, which multiplies your credits by the current credit price of $0.01. The charge is made at the current credit price when the 30-day cycle runs.
5

Confirm the Payment Method

  • In the Payment Method section, confirm the card that will be used for this sub-account’s charges.
  • Click Update to change the card.
6

Save

  • Click Save to set up monthly auto-allocation for that sub-account.
  • Your card is charged every 30 days, and the credits are added after each successful payment. Nothing is charged when you save.

Important Considerations

  • Dynamic Consumption: Credits have a fixed value of $0.01, but they do not equate to a fixed amount of call time. The number of credits an operation consumes depends on what was done and how the agent is configured.
  • Credit Value: Each credit costs $0.01, so $50 buys 5,000 credits.
  • Threshold Timing: If your balance is below the threshold when you turn on Auto-Recharge, the recharge triggers the next time an action consumes credits.
Example:
You set a threshold of 2,500 credits while your balance is 1,000 credits → the system recharges your account the next time an action consumes credits, pushing your balance back above the threshold.

Campaign Autopause

If your balance drops below the minimum required to continue calling, affected campaigns are paused automatically.
1

See the low-balance warning

  • A warning banner appears across the app when one or more campaigns become inactive due to low balance.
  • Click Recharge to add more credits and continue calling.
2

Choose a credit package

  • Select the credit package you want to buy: $25, $50, $100, or $200.
3

Resume eligible campaigns

  • After recharging, choose which paused campaigns you want to resume.
